We are working on a number of new projects that will be announced over the coming months. There will be opportunities for participation, so all the more reason to be a member. You can join here if you haven't already.

Meanwhile, we are now well advanced with a revised version of this website to bring it up-to-date with a new look, new features and vastly improved navigation.

Meanwhile . . .

Our images collection gives a special insight into the history of Brighton and Hove. The revised version of the James Gray Collection of more than 7,500 often unique historic photographs is nearing completion as Historical and Contemporary Images of Brighton and Hove. We also host the Society of Brighton Print Collectors of over 500 images mostly from before the days of photography.
