AGM and John Small Lecture
16th April 2025 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Re-use—towards a circular economy
Duncan Baker Brown runs a small but vibrant architectural practice in Cooksbridge that specialises in sustainable design. His interest in the re-cycling and the re-use of building materials inspired him to create the Waste House in the courtyard of the Brighton School of Art and to write two books on the subject.
Duncan Baker Brown is a graduate of Brighton University School of Architecture where he still teaches. He is an active member of the architectural profession and stood as a candidate in the 2024 election of the president of the RIBA.
This lecture will follow the RS annual general meeting. The event is free and open to all with no need to book, although only RS members will be able to vote in the AGM.
