New into old: The architecture of WWM Architects
19th February 2025 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Architects Witherford Watson Mann have developed a reputation for their sensitive remodelling of existing historic buildings and their skill at inserting new into old.
Their remodelling of Astley Castle for the Landmark Trust was awarded the 2013 RIBA Stirling prize. More recently they have been responsible for the remodelling of the galleries within the Courtauld Institute of Art, the insertion of a new theatre within a stable block for Nevill Holt Opera and the sensitive addition of new accommodation at Clare College, Cambridge.
Partner Chris Watson will describe projects with which he has been involved.
