17th January 2024 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

A free Regency Society lecture
All are invited. No need to book.
One of the most interesting and exciting award-winning architectural firms of the moment, Stephen Proctor and Andrew Matthews will talk about place-making, clarifying urban areas, respecting historical contexts, strengthening a sense of place and identity.
Among their works are a neighbourhood of new homes built in the Greenwich Millenium Village on the principle of the London square, Gorilla Kingdom at London Zoo, a housing and mixed-use community at Great Kneighton, Cambridge and a masterplan for Riverside Sunderland. Their thinking is documented in a series of publications, highly recommended and available to read on their website.
This is a free event, open to all, with no need to book.
