...and demolishing the worst!
The Royal Institute of British Architects has produced a map that identifies and describes some outstanding buildings in Brighton and Hove of the last hundred years.
The Maps compilers, Paul Zara and Dr. Cara Courage, will introduce the map to the Regency Society at this light-hearted event.
Copies of the map will be on sale.
Paul and Cara will discuss their choice of buildings and invite the audience to comment. Did they include some raspberries? Did they omit some gems? Come and tell them what you think.
Following an intermission during which drinks and seasonal snacks will be served (cash donations will be invited), a number of members will present the case for demolishing their least favourite buildings in the City and the audience will be invited to vote for the three worst buildings of the last hundred years.
There is no need to book and no entry fee - simply turn up and join in!
